Dear Amy, I wanted to write and thank you for the wonderful experience of your Media Makeup Artist classes. I learned more and received a far better portfolio than I ever hoped for. I just wanted to let you know while I was recovering from an injury for over seven months, I had the opportunity to research and compare all of the different Makeup Artist Schools. I made a spread sheet of all the schools that I could find from New York, Florida, California and everything in between. My spread sheet confirmed the information that became very apparent while training at your studio. I learned more, received more experience and when I was finished I felt more confident than I ever dreamed I would. On the way home I knew I had all the training, experience and confidence to start a very successful business as a Media Makeup Artist. No words can thank you enough for your wonderful training, time, expertise and care about my education and giving me the keys to become successful. I am pleased to say I have already done several fashion shoots even though I only returned home from school approximately three weeks ago and will be doing a large fashion shoot with a well known actor in a few weeks. The networking and training I received to hit the ground running was far more than I could have imagined. I am already getting more calls and requests for my portfolio and makeup test shoots (a new TV show and a Movie) than I thought possible. Thank you so very much for teaching me and continuing to help and care about my training. You have made it possible for my dreams to become a reality. With deepest appreciation and gratitude, Carrie Dear Amy, I am writing this letter to you because I feel that I owe you a great deal of thanks and appreciation for all of your dedication and motivation. I had been looking into makeup schools for about five years while in college. I immediately became intrigued with your one week course, but still decided to do some more research. I then came to the conclusion that my desire for media makeup and the variety of experience you have made this the perfect course for me. Coming to your pre-class introduction I was able to discuss all the questions and concerns I had, which confirmed even more that I wanted to attend your school. I was very excited because you were so enthusiastic and excited as well. I knew I was going to have a great experience. Finally getting to attend your course was an unbelievable experience. I felt you were more than just a teacher, but also a role model and confidant. Your personality is so warm and I felt our class became more like a family than just a class, because of how you made us feel. With your professional approach I learned so much and have been very successful in my career. I wanted to thank you for all the job opportunities you have recommended me for, as well as your many conversations with me when I needed professional advice. I just completed an awesome road trip doing makeup for a band and there are many jobs lined up for the next few months. You have made a great impact on my life and my career and I am truly grateful. Continue making dreams a reality!!!! Many Thanks, Alexis Morin makeup143143@yahoo.com Dear Amy, I wanted to take this chance to express my gratitude for the occasion I had to learn at your studio. Mahalo, Brandon Akamu BrandonAkamu@mac.com "When I decided to go to school for makeup of course I wanted to go to the best school possible. I researched for many weeks comparing all factors and decided to go to the Awards Studio. What sealed my decision was an amazing conversation with Amy Ward, Owner and instructor. She made me feel so welcome and at home that I just couldn't resist. She demonstrated so much knowledge in the field and fulfilled all of my expectations. The class was so much fun and I learned a lot. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to get into the Makeup Artist field." Elle Leary Dear Amy, Hi there Amy. I am just dropping a note to say thank you for the time you spent with me in your make-up course. You gave me clarity and direction with my career as a freelance make-up artist and I am moving to the Los Angeles area to further my career. I think it is fabulous that you offer putting together an artists portfolio and offer further make-up training and pictures in the future to advance my portfolio. I was especially impressed with the time you spent with the students in your class, the small class size and the individual attention we had with any questions. I am looking forward to meeting with you again in the future. Thanks again. Sincerely, Rebecca Nelson Amy, I just wanted to send you one of my comp cards and let you know what I've been up to. I am working at a make-up studio in Ft. Worth with two incredible make-up artists. I am also working part time for a television program. We will be airing by the first of next year! I am so excited about all of the options ahead of me. Thank you so much for all of your help. God Bless, Charity Dear Amy, Thank you so much for being a wonderful teacher. I really appreciate it. Love, Belonna Vo Dear Amy, I just wanted to let you know how much fun my sister and I had on our photo shoot with your class. It was a very supportive, informative and fun environment, while at the same time professional. The way you mentored your artists and went around and spoke to everyone to make us feel so welcomed was great. Your hands on approach was quite refreshing because it showed how much you care about your studio and your students. Thank you once again. Be safe and God Bless. Sincerely, Joseph Giles (model) |
